Hosts Germany got off to a near-perfect start at Euro 2024 with a 2-0 victory over Hungary in their Group A opener at the Stuttgart Arena.
Bayern Munich star Jamal Musiala opened the scoring for Germany in the 23rd minute, while Manchester City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan doubled the lead just before halftime.
The win puts Germany in a strong position to qualify for the knockout stages, while Hungary will need to bounce back quickly in their next match against Portugal.
